Workshop: “Blockchain as an institutional technology to enable new kinds of digital enterprises”

On March 22, 2024, the Becamex Business School at EIU successfully organized a seminar on the theme “Blockchain as an institutional technology to enable new kinds of digital enterprises,” which saw a large turnout of leaders, lecturers, and students from the BBS.

During the workshop, speaker Nick Cowen from the School of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Lincoln emphasized the role of blockchain technology in enhancing the efficiency and transparency of transactions. He also discussed the impact of Web 3.0 on smartphone applications and the sharing economy. Furthermore, the speaker analyzed how blockchain helps restore balance in digital platforms and underscored the importance of transparency and openness in this field.

The program opened doors for students to explore and accumulate knowledge about blockchain technology, thereby enabling them to apply it to their learning process as well as future careers.
