The OCE is also responsible for bridging the University and the business community in training, research and development activities. They play an important role in collaborating with partners to create value \u200b\u200bfor the community and at the same time improve the training quality of the University.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;9084&#8243;][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;Missions &#8211; Responsibilities:&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1628490839239-3b08fea2-e94e&#8221;][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]<strong>Missions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carrying out business connection activities;<\/li>\n<li>Finding and developing relationships with strategic partners;<\/li>\n<li>Connecting and developing the alumni network;<\/li>\n<li>Organizing seminars, workshops, career counseling and job placement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> Connecting businesses<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Organizing seminars, workshops, guest speakers from businesses to update students on practical knowledge;<\/li>\n<li>Designing and supporting Faculties to implement activities, including internships, business cooperation projects and final year projects for students;<\/li>\n<li>Introducing students to the funds or sponsorships from corporations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong> Finding and developing the relationships with strategic partners<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Identifying partners who share the same vision and development direction, building a strategic partnership with that business to maximize the resources of both parties.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong> Connecting Alumni<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Connecting and developing the Alumni community of EIU.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong> Career counseling for students<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Organizing student events: job fairs, career counseling and soft skills seminars to create conditions for students to develop themselves and future career opportunities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Student support activities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Business connection<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Internship programs for students<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With a diverse network of connections, the OCE is proud to work and form long-term relationships with sustainable partners, providing potential and valuable learning and internship opportunities for students.<\/p>\n<p>Internship partners include photos of the network companies (See the infographic)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seminar<\/strong>\/<strong>Workshops<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Workshops organized by OCE bring tremendous value to students. Through these activities, students accumulate a lot of new knowledge and experiences to support their future study and career. The topics of these workshops are practical such as perspectives and industry updates, innovations in science and technology, topics related to professional career development and related skills; sharing experiences, career journeys and learning journeys between alumni and students.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Enterprise collaboration projects<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>PBL project: this is a project in a specialized course. This is a teaching method that helps students improve their knowledge and skills through solving real-life problems, requiring research and understanding business challenges. Typically, a PBL project program will last for about 10 \u2013 12 weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Industry Project: this is a project carried out by faculty members to enhance the faculty&#8217;s teaching and research capabilities. Projects can involve many aspects of a manufacturing or service industry with the aim of improving productivity, quality, throughput, health and safety, and economics. Students can support faculty members to participate in projects as a part of the learning process.<\/p>\n<p>Capstone Project: this is a graduation project designed for final year students to help students gain real-world experience before graduation. Students will work in groups to come up with creative solutions to real-world problems, while understanding the needs and responsibilities of the job. This gives students the opportunity to develop leadership and management skills and understand the consequences of making decisions in their comfort zone.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong> Strategic partnership<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The innovation of the global industrial revolution requires education and training to quickly adapt and update knowledge to catch up with trends and meet the job needs of industries. Therefore, the cooperation between the University and strategic partners enhances professional training efficiency.
