[vc_row][vc_column][vc_wp_text]On November 14, 2023, at Eastern International University (EIU), members of the Center for Accreditation of Education Quality at VNU-HCM conducted a preliminary survey to serve the quality assurance of two training programs in Electrical Engineering, Computer Networks & Data Communication, according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.<\/p>\n

Participating in the program, from the Center for Accreditation of Education Quality at VNU-HCM, were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Ngoc Quynh Lam – Director of the Center, Supervisor of the Delegation; from the External Evaluation Team, there was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Duc Anh Vu – Vice President in charge of the International University, VNU-HCM, Head of the Delegation; MSc. Pham Thi Bich – Deputy Director of the Centre for Testing and Evaluation of Training Quality at VNU-HCM, Secretary of the Delegation. From EIU, there were Mr. Nguyen Tan Loi – Chairman of the University Council; Dr. Nguyen Thanh Trong – Vice President; Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Huy – Vice President, along with esteemed faculty leaders from the School of Engineering, School of Computing and Information Technology, and specialised departments throughout the university.<\/p>\n

Sharing at the working session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Duc Anh Vu stated: The External Evaluation Team highly appreciates the self-assessment reports, evidence of the two programs that EIU has submitted, and the online evidence system. Through the preliminary survey, they highly appreciate the infrastructure, learning environment of EIU in general, and the two programs in particular.<\/p>\n

Dr. Nguyen Thanh Trong, on behalf of the EIU Board of Presidents, expressed sincere thanks to the esteemed faculty members in the External Evaluation Team for working at EIU during this period. Ensuring quality is one of the tasks that EIU always pays attention to and focuses on. Quality assurance not only helps EIU meet certain standards in training but also, through the assessment activities, helps EIU improve and enhance the quality of training to meet the demands of labour users in Binh Duong province and the whole country.<\/p>\n

During the exchange at the working session, many issues were shared between the External Evaluation Team and EIU for effective coordination. At the same time, the official survey schedule for the two training programs at EIU was agreed upon, scheduled from November 27 to November 30, 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n

The External Evaluation Team surveyed EIU’s facilities<\/em><\/p>\n

On the working day, the External Evaluation Team surveyed the infrastructure of EIU, such as the offices of the School of Engineering, School of Computing and Information Technology; Library; Classrooms, Laboratories; Dormitory; Interview rooms; Working room of the External Evaluation Team; Cyber Security Center, as well as the Advanced Manufacturing Center (AMC).<\/p>\n

Signing the Memorandum of Understanding at the end of the program<\/em><\/p>\n
