Consequently, the volume of data and information in cyberspace has increased significantly, making the security of IT systems a top priority for individuals, organizations, and businesses, including Becamex IDC Corporation and EIU.<\/span>[\/vc_wp_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;336105&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][vc_wp_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mr. Vo Tan Luc \u2013 Executive Director of the Digital Transformation Center at Becamex IDC Corporation delivering the opening speech<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_wp_text][vc_wp_text]<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The seminar \u201cFacing Ransomware Before, During, and After an Attack\u201d provided an opportunity for Becamex IDC Corporation and EIU to better understand the ransomware attack process on IT systems and to draw lessons and develop appropriate strategies for each stage \u2013 Mr. Vo Tan Luc added.<\/span>[\/vc_wp_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;336103&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][vc_wp_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Mr. Ph\u1ea1m Ho\u00e0i Nam \u2013 Digital Technical Specialist, Microsoft Vi\u1ec7t Nam shared with the seminar attendees<\/em><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_wp_text][vc_wp_text]<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Following the program, Mr. Pham Hoai Nam \u2013 Digital Technical Specialist at Microsoft Vietnam \u2013 shared with the seminar attendees about the methods and processes of ransomware attacks on IT systems; defensive measures against attacks; and necessary steps for recovery and regaining control.<\/span>[\/vc_wp_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;336107&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][vc_wp_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mr. Bui Quoc Khang \u2013 Vietnam Security Lead at Noventiq Vietnam \u2013 also shared insights during the program.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_wp_text][vc_wp_text]<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to statistics from specialized agencies, in the first quarter of 2024 alone, there have been tens of thousands of ransomware attacks on IT systems of organizations and businesses, causing millions of dollars in damage. Therefore, businesses must protect themselves from these attacks.<\/span>[\/vc_wp_text][vc_wp_text]<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To optimally prevent ransomware, businesses and individuals must regularly review and check their entire systems to guard against malware; use security software; and have an incident response plan in place.
